Position

Fortune 500 manufacturing companies and industry leading design firms rely on CoLab to securely share and review design data, and build higher quality products. As the QA & Release lead, you will play a crucial role in the validation and deployment of new features and other application improvements to our valued customers.

Responsibilities

As the QA & Release Lead at CoLab you will:

• lead the Quality Assurance team to validate new application features and other application improvements and changes before they are released;
• own the release process by managing code freeze, ensuring the creation of release candidates, tracking the completion of test sets, triaging bugs and coordinating the release itself;
• work closely with the Product Team to develop user story based test sets and User Acceptance Tests
• assist in providing mentorship and training on Quality Assurance to the entire company; and,
• be an essential member of the team in this hands-on role that requires a high degree of technical knowledge, problem solving skills and people skills;

Required Skills

• have strong knowledge and experience in Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing of software applications
• have strong knowledge and experience with CI/CD and version control softwares
• display strong customer focus and ability to consider end-user workflows
• capable of managing multiple conflicting priorities and quickly assessing risk related to bug fixes and other code changes
• have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt in a complex and changing environment
• capable of working with detailed technical information and has hands-on technology experience
• experience with automated testing software would be considered an asset
• knowledge of common web application security vulnerabilities and experience with application security testing would be considered an asset
