Position

You will be the first Account Executive with CoLab and will get to work alongside a small, but incredibly talented marketing, sales and success team. In this role, you will be responsible for diving deep with new leads to uncover their problems and understand their workflows. Alongside our internal technical team you will prepare and deliver solutions to prospective customers and work the opportunity through to close and handover to Success.

Required Skills

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing creative strategies to find and nurture new leads
  • Creating outbound call and email plans to uncover opportunities
  • Interacting with clients and prospects to understand their business process, requirements and challenges
  • Delivering customized demos and content to leads to move them along in the buying process
  • Preparing and delivering proposals that meet customer needs
  • Managing follow-up, conversations, documentation and activity in Salesforce
  • Working with the sales team to strategize on deals and ways to progress leads
  • Working closely with the success team to uncover new expansion opportunities
  • Working closely with the product team to ensure we’re always building the product our customers need
  • Working in consultation with our customers to uncover their existing problems, and strategize solutions


Requirements

  • Previous experience in SaaS sales position with strong closing skills
  • Ability to balance finding new leads with closing deals
  • Experience with consultative selling
  • A collaborative approach, focused on solving problems for customers
  • Self driven motivation to achieve goals and results
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to convey your message
  • Engineering experience or previous roles in CAD/PLM/Manufacturing would be a major asset
