Sales Development Representative

Position

As an SDR you will join a small but growing sales team and help design and create the sales development process at CoLab. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a sales development engine from the ground up! Maybe you have done it before, or maybe you have enough experience to know how it should be done, and done well. You will be the driving force behind our pipeline quality and ensure that our Sales Team is working on the best opportunities. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow, comfortable conducting cold calls, and enjoys speaking with all levels of the organization. 


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct activities that generate sales qualified leads
  • Follow up and pre-qualify every lead/contact that comes through from Marketing and other outreach efforts
  • Participate in outbound cold-calling and email campaigns against specific target markets
  • Identify sales opportunities and pre-book meetings for qualified prospects for the Sales team
  • Identify key stakeholders within accounts and what is important to them
  • Maintain all activities in Salesforce and keep accurate information
  • Own reporting and metrics for meetings booked through to opportunities created for Sales


Required Skills

  • Sales Development experience in a SaaS environment
  • Confident in calling and speaking with various levels within an organization, including C-level
  • Experience booking meetings for complex and technical software would be beneficial
  • Previous experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Driven to grow our sales funnel and excited to set the standard for growing the team 
  • A can-do attitude; nothing is impossible with some creativity and flexibility
