Our ideal candidate obsesses over the customer experience, working to automate repetitive testing activities in order to focus on UI/UX and overall product quality. You enjoy working with technical resources such as developers and designers to ensure functionality and design specifications are being met. As our first senior QA resource, you will provide critical input on the overall direction of QA here at CoLab. Manage QA at CoLab, including all test planning, preparation and execution activities
Work with the Product Team to develop user story tests and user acceptance tests
Implement various automated testing tools and technologies to develop, debug, execute and maintain complex automated test cases
Own the entire release testing lifecycle (e.g. integration, business acceptance, performance, operability, deployment verification)
Prioritize testing tasks, ensure milestones, activities, tasks are completed as scheduled
Coordinate code deployments, maintenance upgrades and project testing across numerous environments on various technology platforms
Participate in audit reviews to ensure test artifacts and processes meet necessary standards and compliance requirements
Provide mentorship and training on Quality Assurance to the entire company
5+ years of relevant experience in QA and UAT of software applications
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices and QA processes
Strong knowledge of test automation technologies and tools
Knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes would be considered an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as demonstrated experience managing others
Knowledge of common web application security vulnerabilities and experience with application security testing would be considered an asset
